Job Description / Responsibility

    Applications in prescribed form, obtainable from the office of the Registrar, are invited from the Bangladeshi nationals for appointing two temporary Assistant Professors against two permanent posts of the same category in the Department of Statistics, Bio-statistics & Informatics, University of Dhaka in the Pay Scale of Tk 18,500-800X14-29,700/-


Educational Requirements

    Candidates must have first class at least either in Honours or in Masters degree in Statistics, Bio-statistics & Informatics or an equivalent degree from a foreign university with at least high second divisions in SSC & HSC Examinations.


Experience Requirements

    Minimum 3 year(s)


Additional Job Requirements

    They should have at least three years of teaching and research experience in a university.
    The above requirements may be relaxed in the case of those who have Ph.D degree or research publications in standard journals.
    Experience and performance as a teacher as well as significant contribution to different areas of university activities especially in guiding the overall educational and co-curricular activities of the students will also be treated as qualification.
    Other qualifications being equal preference may be given to those who have higher degrees.
