Adsense Click Fraud

If you're using AdWords or AdSense you have heard of new practices of information technology in the underworld is called click fraud. "But what then of fraud and how does it take?

Well AdSense uses a payment mechanism that rewards the amount of money to a publisher (someone who AdSense banner page) every time a person clicks on a banner said. So click fraud is to try to get people to click on ads just because they can earn more revenue.

There are people build sites only fraudulently generating revenue through the Google AdSense program. These users achieve an incredible number of clicks through many methods, some complex and sophisticated and some rudimentary and simple.

One of the most difficult is to use the so-called hitbots. "These are automated programs that simulate clicks on links in AdSense banners (some that actually click on the banner as well).

Google AdSense protection scheme is not perfect, and almost nobody can find the details faber protection mechanism, ironically just by doing a search on Google.

Another method is to hire many more rudimentary in a poor country to click the links on your site. This means that these people actually sit all day and just click links so you can earn a fortune. They come from very poor countries like India, Philippines etc and are willing to pay for only € 0.50 per hour.

Of course, there is a problem with this mechanism. Once Google receives a large number of clicks from an address, single site and had the AdSense banner will be banned and illicit behavior might even get the fraudster sued.

To avoid this, many people use a large number of proxy servers to click. These are basically trojans, located on computers around the world (although mainly in the U.S.). What is even more disheartening is that these clicks appear to come from a real team for these scams are difficult to detect.

And do not think this happens only in isolated cases. There are many illegal activities in this field.

In fact, so much that if search engine companies do not increase their security programs such as AdSense, as criminal behavior may be even more harmful.

Google has very strict policy regarding click fraud, and led those who use these techniques in the past. But when the giant search engine does its best to minimize the click fraud out there is certainly much room for improvement.

It is estimated that over 20% of clicks to track your AdSense link are just done to get the money to pay personal ad. Some believe that the number of click fraud up to twice as large.

There are many more agreements with click fraud, such as groups of AdSense publishers click each other's links (which are referred to as "clicking rings", or spamming people so that they click on those links.

Despite Google still holding click fraud on a leash, the phenomenon is certainly of interest to advertisers on AdWords, but despite this advertising with Google AdSense is still more profitable for the advertiser, as opposed to traditional models of advertising targeted.
